FET / National Certificate: Bookkeeping

Bookkeepers compute, classify and verify numeracy data in order to develop and maintain financial records. In smaller organisations bookkeepers handle all aspects of financial transactions. They record debits and past balance sheets summarise details of separate ledgers and prepare reports for supervisors and managers. They
may also prepare bank deposits and send cash cheque and other forms of payment to the bank.

A: The students who complete and are deemed competent for this Qualification will receive the FASSET SETA Certification.

Admission requirements
- Grade 10 or equivalent
- No prior accounting knowledge needed
